Marti was surprised by many of her friends in the industry with a Friendship Quilt at the International Quilt Festival awards banquet in 2004 when she was awarded the Silver Star for lifetime achievement. Here are some photos and the story about keeping the secret!

They pre-date the Encyclopedia of Patchwork Blocks books, but all the blocks can be found in Volume 1 in at least two sizes, sometimes more.
We
hope you will enjoy seeing some of Marti's favorite old and new
quilts. Most of the antique quilts could be made today using Perfect
Patchwork Templates! We'll be updating this section from time to
time.
